Bilateral international scientific and technological cooperation of RIPP Piešťany is especially aiming at plant breeding, mutual tests of new varieties and perspective biological material and their consequential commercial representation in the partner and third countries as well as at protection of biodiversity and plant gene pool, genetics, breeding methodology, resistance to plant diseases, biotechnology, soil utilization and plants growing technologies, fruit crops cultivation and utilization, effectiveness verification of fungicidal and herbicidal preparations for plant protection for the purpose of their registration and teaching of students in ecology. The cooperation is mostly based on bilateral agreements and contracts on cooperation concluded usually for a 5-year period with the possibility of their prolongation.
